Spring 2011 Newsletter, A Taste of Manitoulin, and the Spring Fair!

On June 12, 2011, the village of Meldrum Bay was bustling with the grand opening of the new Marina building, the final day of A Taste of Manitoulin and Meldrum Bay's First Annual Spring Fair. The day ended with a celebration dinner at the Inn.

For pictures of that great day, go here.

Click here to view the Spring 2011 issue of your Meldrum Bay Newsletter, where you'll find everything you need to know about tourism, services, and amenities at "The End of the Rainbow" – the western tip of Manitoulin Island.

Plan to stay with us all year round!

Remember that the Meldrum Bay Inn is open 12 months of the year. Many say that the very best times on the Island are the off-season months and it's exciting for us to offer our accomodations and restaurant to west-end adventurers. Plan a stay with us and experience 'the other side' of the Manitoulin. Enjoy our great outdoors and hike, bike, snowshoe, snowmobile, ice fish...whatever your passion.

Check this website in the future for our fall and winter service hours & programs.

Every season, we make improvements and changes to the Inn to help make your stay with us even better.

When we first arrived to our new lives in Meldrum Bay, we set to work revamping the kitchen and upgrading the rooms and living quarters. We added a full garden (watch the boats or read a book under the trees!), an outdoor hot tub (relax under the stars!) and high-speed wireless Internet access.

Since then, we've redecorated and added electric fireplace heaters to all the rooms, refinished the central staircase, and expanded the garden. Summers are always special for us, and it's when we see most of our friends and guests, but remember that we're open all year and would love to see you any season.
