Bob Grover and his wife Shirin bought the Inn, sold their Northern California properties, and moved to Meldrum Bay, all in the span of two busy months in the spring of 2007.

Bob and Shirin (and Roscoe, Cinammon, and Shina!) are all delighted to be Islanders, are thrilled with the warm welcome they’ve received, and look forward to meeting you.

Innkeepers

Bob has spend a lifetime on or near the water, with windsurfing, professional beach volleyball, and surfing taking up much of his time. He has opened and managed numerous steak and seafood restaurants on the West Coast and in Hawaii, and also ran a large, successful California brew-pub.

Shirin is Canadian by way of Ottawa and holds multiple degrees, including one in international business. Their daughter has studied culinary arts and may eventually join them for the 2008 season.
